The Canadians are our neighbors to the north and we greet them. In gratitude and in grace, for seven months, a growing Circle of Freedom friends have been in conversation with the Mohawk, Bear Clan Mother of the Haudenosaunee League of Nations (Iroquois) and her tribe of women. She is Louise Bear — Bear Clan — of the Mohawk Nation. She holds the title, “Lakoiane,” as one who has the authority to give names and re-call names in order to protect the lands for future generations not yet born.

Their territory moves in sovereignty over the border between two nations. The name, “Canada” is Kanata in Mohawk and translates to “village” or settlement, and Akwesasne is the name of the Mohawk Nation Territory. Akwesasne translates to, Land where the partridge drums.

The name, “Kanata” was given in the 16th century with the intention that it be used to name designated lands, but it was done so under specific conditions. The conditions agreed upon were listed in a treaty between the people called, The Two Row Wampum.

Peace is now sought this Canada Day 2021 for broken promises through the new mandate presented by the Iroquois to the Canadian Government titled, The Empty Cradleboard.

​Mohawk Bear Clan Mother Series #4

When the Lady of Freedom reached the top of the Capitol dome at noon on December 2nd, 1863, the horizon registered 29 degrees Aquarius with a sun overhead at 10 degrees Sagittarius. Such a high degree as 29 is called an “anaretic degree,” or degree of fate in Astrology. 


We look to the ascendent in Astrology, which is determined by first sacred-breath, or the moment when an event begins, to understand the nature of the event or the individual. The coordinates lay out the entire Star Chart. Lady Freedom first crowned the top of the Capitol dome in Washington DC  at high noon.


In a hologram we learn that within every part, every point, and every cell the whole is contained. With this thought in mind, we cast her Astrological Chart and look to the one degree of the Rising Sign of Lady Freedom to know her better.


The Ascendent (or rising sign) is known to describe physical appearances and first impressions. For me, it represents the very nature of who the individual is (taught by Barbara Hand Clow) whereas the sun represents the personality; the part of us that "shines" outward. The soul, symbolized by Pluto, (taught by Jeffery Greene) chooses the sun-personality before birth to help evolve the soul during a specific lifetime. 


Lady Freedom’s nature is to be found in the 29°of Aquarius - that of the humanitarian and the
rebel. To understand that both are two sides of one, we look at a coin. They have two sides and yet, both are one coin. Now consider when a nation is in alignment with the high-mind of the Humanitarian with just values and principled morals. Such a state of consciousness would allow for peace, but if that same nation found its principles broken and under tyranny, then there would be reason to rebel and revolt. 


She went up after the American Revolutionary War (also known as the U.S. War of Independence which declared us free of Britain), but during the same time of the Civil War when our county was divided. She is the epitome of what the United States stands for: freedom, justice, truth, and sovereignty. Her time is the present. In her past, she has been invisible and of unknown identity. Thankfully, veils have lifted.


Lady Freedom’s astrological chart (shown below) reveals something unique. The pattern is called a DIVINE INTERCEPTION (DI) (aka Barbara Hand Clow), and signifies a soul/spirit who has come in to this life with a serious mission. 


The first and seventh houses are Divinely Intercepted with the Lady of Freedom. What that tells me is that her spirit has "faltered" in a recent past life and has come back into this earthly life to get it no matter what. DI with the First House is naturally Aries and is concerned with one’s IDENTITY. It’s opposite house, and equally intercepted, is naturally the Seventh House of Libra which symbolizes the reflection, or the significant-other. 


The issues which must be learned in this life are about the intercepted constellations of Pisces and Virgo. One read on first house DI Pisces is about not being seen. At its highest, however it is the identity and vibration of Christ consciousness through sacrifice and the mystery of the sacred waters versus the seventh house which intercepts the constellation of Virgo.


Virgo is symbolic of the ancient Egyptian goddess, Isis Veiled. She is the Divine feminine who shields and guards the sacred mysteries. Only to those who prove themselves worthy will she reveal the hidden gifts she carries. As she is Lady Freedom’s reflection, she is also ours.


Interesting to note with the natural seventh house of Libra, we deal not only with the reflection and the significant other, we also have the Sky Mother who carries the cosmic seed. Libra is Isis Unveiled and she is pregnant with life, whereas Virgo is the Virgin, or Maiden. For me there is no doubt that we have the Universal Mother-Maiden exemplified in the Statue of Freedom.


With this in mind, let us look to the cosmic and philosophical translation of the 29th vibration of Aquarius through its Sabian Symbol by Dane Rudhyar to better understand the vibratory- nature of this remarkable spirit. There are no coincidences in the vibratory realm, only that which is attracted and or repelled. Think for thyself. 


​“PHASE 329 (AQUARIUS 29°): A BUTTERFLY EMERGING FROM A CHRYSALIS. 
KEYNOTE: The capacity to utterly transform the character of one's consciousness by radically altering the structural patterns of everyday living and the types of relationships one enters upon. 
.
Here what is emphasized is the process of metamorphosis itself. It is the fourth symbol of a five-fold sequence and it stresses the essential character of the activity required at this stage of the cycle; i.e. nothing short of a complete renewal of all the implications of being alive as a human individual will do. A radical change is needed. At this stage, this change is individual and mental, and it should be seen against the background of humanity as a whole. What is revealed is the potential ability of every human being to participate in a higher realm of evolution AFTER his or her emergence from a critical state of transition. At this fourth stage of the sixty-fifth subcycle the Keyword is METAMORPHOSIS. In spiritual terms, this implies "Initiation," i.e. entering a higher realm of conscious existence and there joining a sacred Company.” 


She invites us to transform and fly from the chrysalis, to leave the background noise - the cage of the matrix - and join “a sacred Company.” A balanced mix of old world and new world, Lady 
Freedom is both Earth and Cosmic Mother of Land and People. She was put here long ago to be here now for us.  But to see her, we must first see ourselves.

​1.11 Human Trafficking Day 2023: The U.S. Senate ratified the resolution in 2007 making January 11th the day we observe nationally as, Human Trafficking Awareness Day. In 2010, the entire month of January was dedicated to ‘bringing to light’ this dark and uncomfortable truth in our world and secured it as, National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month. In 2016, it was enforced.


Indigenous communities around the world have suffered greatly from the ghastly slave and human-trafficking trade, but we are finding out there are no racial barriers to this fiendish reality. They do, however, show us the way.  


Lady Freedom Circle, in the past two years, has had the honor and privilege of being in conversation with the Mohawk Bear Clan Mother, Louise Herne and her close group of courageous women, as they were given the abhorrent news of their children. They, and their people the Iroquois Confederacy known as the Haudenosaunee (People of the Long House), have taken great strides, along with all their relations, to right this terrible wrong. 


We witnessed in them a great courage rarely seen and it arose from their deep pain and anger as they learned of their children’s mass graves in Canada. They then took it upon themselves to face Canada’s Parliament, the pope, and the Vatican to make things right and they did it with grace, peace and power. Their movement is called Rematriation which is in essence, The Return of the Sacred to the Mother.


What has befallen these heroic people cannot really be described in words; however, they do very much have their own voices and it is through the timely broadcast of Women Rising Radio, arranged by Katya Miller and supported by she and myself, that we are gifted with an intimate conversation with these remarkable women of our time.
