Environmental Music Films introduces America's Lady Freedom (Statue of Freedom), with her rich history that goes back to the Civil War.  The musical background of Aaron Copland's powerful, "Fanfare for the Common Man” merges well with the woman atop the Capitol dome in Washington and supports the tone and tribute to Humanity, while thanking all warriors for their courage and sacrifices throughout time, but especially now.


Lady Freedom could very well be THE representation of THE LIVING TREATY between all nations in this world and beyond. Think of the woman on top of the Capitol dome as “no coincidence” for the times we live. She echos the strength of a Universal Mother Force found worldwide, and she is particularly strong with the Haudenosaunee, or Iroquois Confederacy, and their Creation Story with their Mother of Nations, their Peacemaker, and their Great Law of Peace. 


Aaron Copland wrote the music, "Fanfare for the Common Man" in 1942 because he was inspired, in part, by a speech made in the same year by American Vice President, Henry A. Wallace in which he proclaimed the dawning of the Century of the Common Man. The world was at a turning point then (with WWII), just as we are today, but we stand at the most critical and the most powerful time of change in the history of the world.


We move from dark to light into, The Golden Age of Peace. It rises within each of us as a living man and living woman on the living earth. Common Law/Universal Law/Mother Law/God's Law. Dawn has broken into day. We now rise as One Humanity into the Heart of Freedom — body, mind, spirit and soul.
