Mothers of Nations 2023 Revisit

The Flower Moon, (Scorpio) this May 12, 2025, will mark two years since the Mothers of Nations Gathering in May of 2023 in Akwesasne, Mohawk Land, New York state.


So much has happened individually and collectively from that special time till now. One thing for sure, we were all deeply transformed inside and inspired to build a brighter future; one of inclusivity rather than exclusivity. That future is now.


Many dreams have come true from the gathering. The Peace University, for one, has been successfully established on grounds by the Mohawk Bear Clan Mother. A number of other projects, ones that I am not at liberty to say, are also in the works. But what is most exciting is a new gathering is set for this year and the public is invited. 


From February 28th to March 1st, in support of Indigenous Women’s Knowledge, Rematriation and Syracuse University partners will host this first-ever 3-day symposium and keynote with over 50 presenters! Attend all three days of the symposium or attend the one keynote event on Saturday, March 1st. The symposium's goal is to share Indigenous matrilineal knowledge and to bring it into the academy as a field of study.

We return to the original words of intention for the Mothers of Nations 2023 by Mohawk Bear Clan Mother, Louise Hern. Words I deeply respect and honor and know that she includes ALL MOTHERS of all lands, color and creed. I feel strongly that only in Unity will we succeed as a nation, as a people, and a world. I feel confident that the good seeds have been planted.


MOTHERS OF NATIONS in Unity ushers in Mother Law and upholds an Ancestral Agreement that many people in the World have forgotten.

We are each Mothers of a Nation.

We come from an intricate woven Web of Women's Wisdom. 

We are the matriline of every life-giving ancestor and a descendant of Mothers.

We hold the great wisdom of the cosmos and carry the seeds of creation within us.

We are our Mother, the Earth, and she is us.

We are Creation, we are Life.

Restore the Heart of the Mother.

When you live in a feminine world, there is LOVE, there is EQUALITY, there is BALANCE... NO MAN GOES HUNGRY.

Protect her and she will provide.
